Lucky's Steakhouse - Top Steakhouse Dining in West Branch, MI

From out of town and celebrating our wedding anniversary. Sitting was immediately on a late lunch on a Sunday afternnon.We both had the special for the day 14 Oz steak and shrimp scampi 23.99. Our waitress Brittnei was pleasant and on top of drinks and clearing dirty dishes very professional Thank You! Our shrimp was HUGE never had shrimp that was more then one bite to eat. The steaks were sizeable cooked just right! BUT the meat was tough to cut and to chew. I blame the cow not the cook. My potato soup was tasty and baked potato went home with me because it was big and a meal all by itself! If in the area ever again we would come back.

This was our first time in to the new Luckys in west branch our server bri was very friendly and attentive and in the area anytime we needed anything without having to ask. The prime rib/ steak combo was so delicious and my boyfriends giant ribeye was massive! Everything was cooked just as we asked and tasted great!

Went here to celebrate a house closing to have a stuffed salmon dinner, most all Lucky’s carry. Unfortunately they didn’t have it on their menu so I had to improvise. I ordered the chargrilled salmon and my husband had the filet mignon. I also ordered the stuffed mushroom caps so I could make my stuffed salmon and be extra happy. Service was good, got seated and waited on quickly. The food took a little extra to get but it was hot and delicious.

We reserved our table ahead of time to avoid a long wait memorial weekend. We got bread and waters at an amazing pace, refilled without a long wait each time. Our apps were great and our meals were tooo. Absolutely loved the calamari and my dish of lobster and shrimp pasta. Bathrooms were clean as we had to utilize the changing table for the little one. Love the design inside compared to the buildings last restaurant.

The parking lot was completely full—a clear sign of a popular and well-loved spot—but even with the crowd, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within just 15–20 minutes. The staff handled the flow with efficiency and a smile, setting a positive tone right away. Our server, Nate, was nothing short of amazing. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, he made us feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. He checked in at all the right times—never rushed, never intrusive. His service truly elevated our dining experience. Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was prepared to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. From the tender, juicy steaks and the flavorful Maryland cakes to the perfectly seasoned sides, everything exceeded expectations. It’s clear that Lucky’s takes great pride in both quality and consistency. This visit was a hit from start to finish. Loved the food! We had prime ribs! Melt in your mouth delicious! Even though we found a sliver of the brillo pad in our mushrooms! I still have to give them a 5 star! They made it right! And food and service was great! Angie was great!!
